I won't bore me with details of our tour of the Corvette Assembly Plant or the National Corvette Museum. Maybe later. Suffice it to say it was riveting. Well, not really. Mostly arc-welded and hot-glued and screwed. A lot of it done by robots. As a new Corvette owner (yeah, yeah, I'll get to that) I can truly say, Domo Arigato Mr. Roboto. And Thank You Very Much, Corvette plant employees. First-class operation run by first-class folks.

Okay, well, there are two facts relevant to our story: Jennifer gave birth to a new Corvette by starting its engine for the first time on the assembly line. And she sat in the passenger seat on the DVM test, where a new Corvette is locked in place on a dyno and run up through the gears.
Then we toured the Museum and saw (surprise!) a lot of Corvette stuff. (We'll go back again later, maybe details will stick the second time through.)
